A great evening initiating a new brother, and watching one of the lodge’s “junior” brothers excel at Junior Deacon for the first time and over coming his nerves.

Thank you to all involved at @GuildLodge4408 for their very kind donation of £1,000! 🧡 They chose to support us following the exceptional care provided to the family of one of their group members by our @LancsHospitals NICU colleagues, when his son was born prematurely🙏

We raised our first @UGLE_UniScheme initiate tonight at @GuildLodge4408 and celebrated accordingly by starting a new tradition.

On Monday night we welcomed two new brothers into the lodge, include the great nephew of one our existing members. Over 40 brethren met and stayed for a lively festive board to welcome our new brothers in good style.

Three initiations for the price of one at our next meeting.

@GuildLodge4408 burger night. I can’t think of many other walks of life that is would bring 21-80+ year olds out socially midweek. Including two new friends who will soon become brothers.

This Star Wars Day we remember the peculiar moment in an initiation ceremony where a Visitor failed to switch their phone to silent. As the WM was giving the candidate the Grip and token a text was received. The notification was Yoda saying “A Message from the Darkside there is.”

One day the WM will look happy he got through a ceremony. But a wonderful night initiating Bri Radu in Preston Guild Lodge last night. Always wonderful to have a full lodge room and festive board.
