We have published our advice on the Seventh Carbon Budget. It is in line with previous Government commitments – the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Carbon Budgets, international commitments, and the Net Zero commitment in 2050.

"Today’s announcement is a positive step forward in the UK’s EV transition, and it’s great to see the Government actively supporting drivers in making the switch to electric. "Extending the plug-in van grant will help more businesses and drivers make the transition, while increasing the plug-in wheelchair-accessible vehicle grant will make EVs more accessible to all.
