I’m posting this openly because a truly disgusting story came out of Japan. A nouveau riche man paid women to line up like a human pyramid, then poured expensive champagne over them from above. A video of it spread online. At first, he tried to make excuses. He said he didn’t remember it. He claimed he had no memory because he was taking ADHD medication. He even said the video was generated by AI. But those lies were exposed very quickly. Now his wife has reportedly kicked him out of the house, and he is facing massive backlash online in Japan. When did wealthy people in Japan become this vulgar and tasteless? I’d like to hear everyone’s thoughts on this.

Literally this retard whom I have never interacted with before in my entire life — just a random person who teaches there, approaches me while I’m doing a bridge. He turned the studio music full blast and hovered over me for 2-3 minutes screaming, yelling and threatening me for no reason. Literally spitting in my fucking face as this mongoloid screams at me a foot away from my face. Refusing to let me even stand up. There’s multiple studio owners present and watching literally within five feet. Mirrors everywhere, recording cameras everywhere. The only thing I said the ENTIRE time was if you move so I can stand up I will speak to you. The studio owners then proceed to yell at me and ban me. I’m given zero reasoning or justification for anything. It’s the most absurd thing.

Got banned from a dance studio for doing a bridge. The last truly great historical epic was Master and Commander, 23 years ago. Brilliant actors and filmmakers at the top of their game telling a sweeping, exciting, heroic story that looks and sounds and feels totally accurate to the period, dealing with weighty moral themes, handled with real artistry, and with absolutely no concern for “diverse representation” or DEI or any other anachronistic bull crap. You leave the film feeling enthralled and also like you just received a history lesson. No other film for the past quarter century has even come close, except for Apocalypto which was masterfully done and unflinchingly realistic, but not exactly trying to be a “historical epic,” I’d argue.
