Recently NSW Greyhound Owner Ricky Christiansen was banned for 3 years by racing authorities, this came after CHRISTIANSEN was found guilty of cruelty to animal charges in Belmont Local Court late last year. CHRISTIANSEN starved the dogs thus causing prolonged suffering.

Speaking of Basil, this asshole has been having a *time* lately. Rescue dogs can be hard! He’s good with separation anxiety now, a dream on walks, but he’s become super difficult with a bunch of other issues, one step forward, several steps back

Our friends at CPG @save_greyhounds are trying their best to advocate for so many rescue groups, but we're feeling this loss so keenly today. The rescue crisis is worsening. We're all struggling. Victorian greyhounds are running out of time.
