WHY WEREN’T THEY CHARGED?
In Episode 69 of Going Rogue with Lara Logan, UK journalist and political activist Tommy Robinson describes cases uncovered in official government reports from Britain’s grooming gang scandal.
Why were police arresting fathers and even the victims instead of the men abusing them?
Robinson recounts one case where two fathers went to rescue their 13-year-old daughters from a house where they were being raped. When police arrived, the fathers were arrested.
In another case, a 12-year-old girl found drunk in an abandoned property while being assaulted by multiple men was arrested for being drunk and disorderly while the men were not charged.
Robinson says these failures were driven by fear, political pressure, and institutional breakdown that allowed systematic abuse of vulnerable girls to continue for years.
