@_jagm_ @UncivilizedElk I don't know if you guys have noticed this, but there's actually a third statue in the finale. A statue of BMO. This suggests that the statues weren't built as a tribute to their deaths and there's a high possibility that there's also a statue of Jake.

@Cupcakes762 but with both she was able to solve her problems, but she lived thinking that her mother had abandoned her just because she was a demon and she was never going to be able to solve that because she was already dead.

Im gonna get blasted if people take this the wrong way so to preface: I love Marceline But.. Obsidian managed to make her the least complex out of main cast. BMO trumps her now, and this is because it establishes only ONE main root for her trauma which we know isn’t the case-
