🔥 Today, Trump has told a cabinet meeting: “Australia was not great. I was a little surprised by Australia.” Firstly we were not warned of upcoming attacks in Iran & had no chance to prepare our nation for the fallout. This has caused a major energy crisis in Australia which in only a few weeks will become a food crisis then famine if this war continues. Any person with an IQ above 90 could see how this would play out. Allies would never have put us in this position. However, a large number of coal mines are developed in areas previously destroyed by timber companies long before mining became popular. Not all but a large number. We must save what is left.

Indonesia's power prices are roughly one third of ours in Australia. Indonesia has also massively expanded its fleet of coal fired power stations in recent years. Only Labor can't connect the dots!

@JenHogben @mattjcan Not really, mass deforestation is mainly carried out for plantations to supply various commodities to the rest of the world. Indonesia is the worlds largest producer and exporter of palm oil. Mining disturbance is minimal in comparison.
