Just saw the Firefly Announcement on IG
Pros: Animation could allow for the series to time jump back to stuff pre-serenity. Wash could return, etc.
Cons: No Whedon. Animation costs a lot and can be time consuming so the Announcement seems more like a pitch. Disney still owns it, so I doubt they'll keep their grubby hands to themselves in terms of the actual content.
Odd note: Kaylee, Bishop, and Simon are absent from the concept art. Also, I'm no animation expert but does this concept art strike anyone else as...weird? It looks less like an animated version of the show and more art for the Firefly RPG or a visual novel.
