We locked the SoD class folks in a room and they did some cooking. Really looking forward to getting some of these adjustments and fixes into your hands. To manage expectations, we are going to try and get Hunter, Mage, and Warlock changes into your hands with this week's PTR build (arriving in the next day or so, barring some sort of unforeseen issue like we had last week), with some additional adjustments to other classes coming a bit later in the week likely via hotfixes to PTR. When we get the current slate of adjustments out, then we'll look to turn on world buffs on PTR. To further manage expectations, we don't expect the damage numbers to be in their final state for really any class yet. We are trying to focus on gameplay first and then we'll pull the levers on the numbers after things settle a bit. The WCL graph will probably never be perfectly flat in SoD, and we are okay with that, but we'll focus on addressing outliers next. Please try and keep this in mind and remember that we'll be at tuning the numbers for a good bit after we lock down the lion's share of the mechanical changes. I'll close out this long post by saying thank you for your feedback. While we can't/won't implement every individual idea people throw at us, the benefit of the feedback though is that it helps distill the underlying pain points you may have which in turn helps us try to focus our adjustments on the reasons for the feedback. That's the most valuable part of this and I think we are going to end up in an exciting place going into level 60 content (which is also going to be super cool!). Oh also, you might want to keep an eye on the Warcraft youtube channel this week :)

@Danog @AggrendWoW Hopefully the "announcement video" this week gives us some info on what's gonna happen with incursions. I really enjoyed pre-questing the last phase with my guild. It would be a good way to rally the nerds before the phase launch :)

@AggrendWoW Couple questions. Will there be transparency around what pre-questing will be doable for p4? (Will incursions give xp at 50 for the daily quests, or do we need to use "real" quests?) Also, any chance Staves could use Iron Counterweight to give classes another enchanting option?

Hey @AggrendWoW how many more iterations of the PTR will there be? I'm kinda hoping for a July 11th launch date for Phase 4

@AggrendWoW @Lumberjackfant1 its been almost 2 weeks since the PTR news "very soon" post I hope the War Withing Beta announcement doesn't make us wait longer for p4 info. Not much going on in game rn its kind of heartbreaking to see Ogrimmar so empty.

This is a dangerous question for twitter, but I've been really excited to see how raids are shaping up as well as the kind of "preraid bis" period and how that will look. Really its mostly the item progression game in general that seems most exciting to me. I think we have an awesome opportunity in SoD at level 60 in particular (now that we don't have to worry about future level caps) to lean into some of the new roles and playtstyles we've added and create items that play to some of those strengths. I'm also really looking forward to PTR (pretty soon!) so we can dig into some class adjustments and test things out and have a lot of great back and forth feedback.

@AggrendWoW I know p4 is still a little ways out in SoD but I can’t help feel hyped for the next step in my favorite version of wow. So as I grind for arcanite bars gold and rep I’d love to know what are you most hyped for that’s coming in p4? Anything you can share?

@Alenyaclassic @jag25001991 @blankseyish Yes, people assumed due to no clarification on the matter and vague statements that could be interpreted in that way. Why not make this clear earlier? These can't be stacked infinitely, and don't abuse mail restore. And even if they gave 200xp That's 1 level at 140ish crates.

@jag25001991 @blankseyish The low tier boxes never gave xp at 25, the issue is people assumed xp gains applied to essentially gray quest items.

@AggrendWoW Clipping the wings of players seeking to exploit a game mechanic with Marks of Honor was a good call. Wondering if there is going to be a similar addressing of players stockpiling Waylaid Supply crates atm for the xp value at launch?
