No shot clock coming to Indiana high school basketball, per the @IHSAA1.
A proposal for a 35-second shot clock failed despite 68% of polled coaches voting for it. Only 24% of administrators voted in favor.
Illinois will implement a 35-second shot clock in the 2026-27 season.

The NCAA is expected to finalize an expansion of the men’s and women’s tournaments to 76 teams soon after the completion of this year’s March Madness tournament, per Yahoo Sports' @RossDellenger. Barring something unforeseen, “it will happen,” a high-placed source told Dellenger. The proposal would add eight games to the First Four, with 24 teams playing in an opening round before advancing into the second round.

Sad to hear this news. The Bob & Tom Show had such a huge cultural impact when living in Indiana in the 80s and 90s. They brought me a lot of hours of entertainment over those years. RIP.

Sad to hear this. I liked Lopes when he was a Dodger and was thrilled when he joined the Cubs. He stole an amazing 47 bases at age 40 for the Cubs in 1985.

I’ve been unusually calm during the first half. I think it’s because I didn’t respect Iowa to get this far, so we’re playing with house money now. But if it’s still close down the stretch, all bets are off.
