@ShinyStallion9 You are right, its not exactly the same but the idea is still the same. 1 of them the market has declared a potentially valuable collectible the other is not. The publishers obviously know this. Trades primary focus is for cheap reading. Trades are considered reprints.

The comic book industry is pricing themselves out because the value of a TPB or an Omni far outweighs the value of floppies. Think about it... 6 issue story at $4.99 a pop = $30 That soft cover TPB = $19.99 Compendium is $60 Omni with oversized art, additional 45 issues, a hardcover, bonus content and alt cover art = $150 That's if you pay retail on the shelf, there's legit sites that sell 40% - 50% off making the value much more significant. It's sad to say but floppies are now the most expensive and last efficient way to collect anymore.

@TRKar_Vell Vol 1 and ending with death of captain marvel in my opinion a top 5 best written/drawn arcs marvel has and people ignore its existence... so many heavy hitters worked on it and dives deep into marvel lore.

@jpalmiotti I forget whos interview i was listening to that said they saw a copy of their marvel title in Italy and had no idea, this was after shooter helped with the royalty program but they werent getting paid for them still. I think it was Gerber. I heard its still in a bad place.

(Raw, as equals with no advantages than their bodies and mind) thragg kills him before he even reaches for his belt.

@GustinGraham @GunnerDobbins Arent Thragg fans the same people always saying "he will Just destroy the planet?" So that is an okay wincon but Batman using his self built equipment is unfair? Besides Base Batman has enough feats to argueably beat Thragg.

You could give Jimmy Olsen a guy with kryptonite bullets and he could kill superman, does that make Jimmy stronger than clark?
