Yesterday I met local people at Aldborough Hall Nature Reserve, the newest addition to Fairlop Waters, adding almost the size of Valentines Park as new public space. So much wildlife - birds, deer, newts + more, has made it their home. A great place to visit, and more to come!

Venezuelans, thanks for the last few weeks. Apart from getting to enjoy the country again, catch up with friends and meet new people, I’ve learned many new things. For example, I now know there are huge divides over whether to put mayonnaise on pasta, and whether malta should be drunk at breakfast. 😂 Nos vemos pronto. Un abrazo! 🥰🇻🇪

It was a delight and humbling to meet Roz, she has a heart of gold and is a reminder of how important our social and day services are for many of our neighbours. I’m glad that with our fair funding settlement we can invest much more next year into adult social care services.
