I almost bought a SaaS tool today. Then I built it with AI in under an hour. Claude Code for the logic. Another AI for the UI. $200/month saved. $2,400/year back in my pocket. How do SaaS companies compete with this? #AIStrategy

Fair point Eddy, and honestly a good one. Build vs. buy got faster, not free. That's the right framing. The Sunday morning problem is real. So is compliance debt. But here's what I'm watching closely The gap is closing faster than most people realize. Not because build got easier — but because the cost of not owning your own workflows is showing up in ways that don't appear on a SaaS invoice. Plus — I enjoy building it myself to work exactly the way I like. 😄

@Gvacci The "how do SaaS companies compete" part is the easy half. The other half is who debugs it Sunday morning when it breaks. SaaS still wins on support, security review, and the boring compliance work nobody wants to own. Build-vs-buy got faster, not free.

Money likes speed. Most CEOs know that. Here’s what they’re missing AI likes speed, too. The CEO who starts today, even imperfectly, builds something the late mover can never buy back: → Prompts refined from real use → Workflows built around your team, improving with each new model. → Institutional knowledge competitors can’t replicate, and its impact on ROI → A team that adopts and learns early. That gap isn’t 12 months behind. It’s 12 months of compounding advantage. AI rewards speed. Specifically — the speed of getting started. #AIStrategy #CEOLeadership

I've lived through 3 tech shifts that wiped out companies that waited too long: → PCs in the late '80s → Commercial internet in the mid-'90s → AI in 2026 The difference this time? There's no grace period.

Most CEOs can't answer this question: "Where is your company actually showing up in AI search results right now?" Not Google rankings. Not paid ads. AI search. The answers Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini give when someone asks about your industry. I spent the last few weeks building something to answer that question for myself and for the CEOs I advise. It's called the AI Visibility Tracker, and it will live within another powerful AI tool I am building, called the Strategic AI Command Center (more on this later). → Real-time AI visibility tracking across multiple brands → One dashboard that shows where you stand — and where you don't → Built on the same data infrastructure, the big agencies charge six figures for. Here's what surprised me most while compiling it: The companies that think they're "doing well with AI" are often completely invisible in AI-generated answers. And the ones who never think about it? Sometimes ranking without even trying. The gap between perception and reality is massive. I'll be sharing the full AI Visibility Report framework soon — the exact process I use to audit where a brand stands in the new AI search landscape. If you're a CEO running any company, this is the kind of intel that changes your 2026 strategy. Follow along. More coming this week. #AIStrategy #AEO

AI agents are beating top employees. Ivy League grads can't get hired. Gen Z is ditching the corporate ladder for gig work and trades. And a former Meta exec just launched a nonprofit because she saw all three happening at once. If you're a CEO still hiring the old way, how much runway do you think you have?

AI never says "I don't know." That's not a feature. It's a risk. It delivers a polished answer with the exact same confidence whether it's right or making it up. A financial model with one silently wrong assumption. A legal summary missing the clause that changes everything. A market analysis that's beautifully formatted and completely fabricated. They all look identical to the correct version. The advantage isn't just using AI. It's knowing how to challenge it. #AIStrategy #CEOAIAdvisor

A Meta AI exec watched agents outperform her best employees. Now she's building a nonprofit to help Gen Z find jobs before they disappear. The people building AI are now building lifeboats for the people it's displacing. CEOs — your talent strategy has maybe 2 years to catch up.

Every entrepreneur that knows how to use AI is trying to find ways to build AI native companies that completely displace incumbents. For the incumbents, it’s the “Innovator’s AI Dilemma” If those startups get traction, and they can’t buy them, the CEOs will face multiple huge Dilemmas: 1. Do they tear down their companies and reinvent them as native AI ? 2. How do they explain it to public shareholders ? You will know AI is having a huge impact on public companies when there are two types of lawsuits: - Shareholders that sue the company for tearing down the company and crushing the stock price - Shareholders that sue the company for NOT tearing down the company and crushing the stock price I think most CEOs don’t come close to understanding AI in enough detail to even begin to consider these decisions. Hint: Asking your AI models the best paths from where you are now, to being an AI native version that can achieve the same economics has to be one of your initial steps. If asking your models questions doesn’t make sense to you, you are in deep shit

You wouldn't hire someone and never onboard them. But that's exactly what most companies are doing with AI. No context about your business. No knowledge of your processes. No understanding of your standards. Every conversation starts at zero. The fix? Skills. Skills are reusable instructions you build once that teach AI how your company operates. Your brand voice. Your workflows. Your rules. Loaded automatically. Claude calls them skills. OpenAI has custom GPTs. Most platforms support some version of this now. The difference between a team using AI well and a team wasting time on AI is almost always this: did someone build the skills, or is everyone prompting from scratch? Stop treating AI like a temp. Onboard it. #AIStrategy #AIROI #CEOAIAdvisor

Most companies have no idea what their AI actually costs per task. It's like hiring a $500/hour attorney to proofread your emails. AI models come in tiers. The difference in cost? 10x to 50x. The companies getting real ROI aren't just asking "does it work?" They're asking "does it work at a cost that makes sense at scale?" Get the economics right first. The innovation will follow. #AIStrategy #ArtificialIntelligence #CEOAIAdvisor

Anthropic CEO: “ I have engineers within anthropic who don’t write any code, they just let Claude write the code and they edit it and look it over” “At anthropic writing code means designing the next version of Claude it self, so we essentially have Claude designing the next version of Claude itself, not completely but most of it”. In the last 52 days, the Claude team dropped 50+ major feature launches. This is literally INSANE.
