@TolleyDM @itsextrasweet I think any chance you have to get players to invest ideas in the world is worthwhile, fleshes it out, helps prevent murder hobos & boredom trolls. (I almost said "your world" up there but technically by the time you share it and they start planning characters, it's theirs too!)

@TolleyDM @itsextrasweet I've only DMed, and poorly, a couple one shots, but that is a great spot for "Good question, what do you all think?" It doesn't always have to be exactly what the players say, but it'll either get some good ideas brainstormin' or buy yourself time to think of one.

@synxiecbeta As a start, I think that the safety tools you mentioned are essential. It's important for both the DM and players to be able to lay boundaries and expectations for each other. One problem though is that the tools rely on a DM interested in applying them, and relies on the players
