@USS_NJ_BB62 Wow I said stole instead of copied because that's clearly a huge difference. AL was specifically made to be a KC copy (real time vs auto rpg gameplay) from the very start so when it magically gets a marriage system shortly after release it's not hard to guess where it's from.

In my own tweet, there are Kancolle fans saying that their game has a similar mechanic, as well as others mentioning different games, which is perfectly fine. However, there's a big difference between saying "Hey, my game also has that!" and saying "My game has that and you copied it from them." I suppose Kancolle did invent the concept of personifying objects as anime girls and the marriage mechanic in games as well. I started playing Azur Lane in 2024 and I haven't been in the community for very long. However, on the few occasions I’ve interacted with Kancolle fans, many of them act like people who still haven’t gotten over their ex. I don't know what kind of trauma some of you have with Azur Lane, but this whole behavior is really ridiculous and you deserve to be mocked for saying stuff like this.

AL will just copy systems that exist in KC purely to have them without considering how the system might impact their game. KC was a history passion project to bring in users while AL is a gooner gacha which makes a big diff.

@KobsonskaKaupa @Gxse_ @USS_NJ_BB62 Tbf, you're heavily overstating how difficult it is to actually sign up for the game. It is a little funny for Azur Lane to get features that KC had and it took them almost 10 years to copy when Chinese companies usually are down pat on trying to copy shit.

I wonder is there is a better marriage system that the one Azur Lane has... Snowbreak maybe? as far I'm concerned the weddings are included in the story of the game.
