@HypocrisyHunta @Heccles94 Thanks for conceding. Already knew I won, though, when you started with insults
English

@HypocrisyHunta @Heccles94 "When the cameras aren't rolling". So you are saying Christians do it for attention?
Talk about hypocrisy, "hypocrisy hunter" 🤡
English

@HypocrisyHunta @Heccles94 "Not grandstanding gestures", like NOT carrying wooden crosses around in the streets?
English

@Heccles94 Unlike muslims who need to put a whole spectacle on for the public. Christians have a personal relationship with God not grandstanding gestures.
English

@4shaann Haha. Tbf I never hear much about active hatred between Spanish teams. Or am I just totally ignorant to it? 😅
(Obvs rivals wont like each other enough for them to want the other to do well)
English

This is bizarre. Not only is it mostly false about the other leagues, but why on EARTH would you want your rivals to support you?
🥤𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬@_Afcbanks
La Liga is supporting Atlético Madrid in the Champions League. Ligue 1 is supporting Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. Bundesliga is supporting Bayern Munich in the Champions League. Epl is supporting any club playing against arsenal in tbe champions league
English

@King133s @TheDavidPerry @utdreport Alright, might have been a bit outlandish there. But I do think that a good Lammens wins as much points as a good De Gea. Just because Lammens is good a shot prevention, and De Gea wasnt
Also, still havent forgiven De Gea for the UEL final and his last season with us
English

@TheDavidPerry @utdreport People will say De Gea (Mourinho era). But Lammens is way more complete and way better off his line. Not to mention the potential
English

@utdreport Promising.
The best keeper we’ve had since Van De Saar.

@NewtonH57888659 Ah fuck sake. Roger Byrne was actually my first thought
English

@GydoBok You got 2 out of 3 right. The player you identified as Pegg is actually Roger Byrne
English

I always wonder if players actually mean it when they say CR was great for us.
Or is because they are afraid CR Is going to say something back and them getting a mediastorm for their comments (like Rooney did)?
I mean if I can see he was shite for us, surely his teammates can

🚨🗣️ | Harry Maguire on Cristiano Ronaldo: “I can’t speak a bad word about him. He was performing, he was scoring goals. We were RUBBISH and he was still scoring goals so it shows how good he is. “It just didn’t work, it had nothing to do with Cristiano because like I said he was our best player that year by far, the boys and tactics around him just didn’t work.” [@FIVEUK]

@IconicUnited @zirkwood_ Fair enough. And I just now see a loanfee of £5M is reported. That would give us much more headroom in PSR than to sell him now
English

@GydoBok @zirkwood_ Ok I get you now, but with it being a minimal to us now, I’d definitely go with the loan with the hope he has a good season which increases his sale value for next summer and making a much bigger profit then. Don’t think £1.2M profit makes much difference this summer.
English

@IconicUnited @zirkwood_ Because instead of the £14.4M loss on him on this bookyear, we record a loss on him of £13.2M. I know it is a small difference, but still... if we want more headspace in this bookyear, it is still profitable to sell him now
I feel this is always overlooked when talked about PSR
English

@GydoBok @zirkwood_ Wdym? To make things easier I’ve assumed we’ve paid his add-ons. £72M / 5 years = £14.4 per year. He’s currently 2 years into his contract so current NBV is around £43.2M. If we sold him now at £30M we record loss of ~£13.2M. How is that in any way profitable?
English

@IconicUnited @zirkwood_ While not untrue, there is one other thing to consider though. We are writing off £14M on him in this bookyear anyway. And by selling him now for lets say £30M we have to write off just £12M. So in that way it is still profitable to sell him now
English

@zirkwood_ Yeah definitely, for us to break even this summer we need to sell him for like £42M which ain’t happening.
His Net Book Value next year will be around £28M - he goes on loan, gets confidence and bags some goals, we’ll easily get £28M+ anything more than that will be PSR profit.

@Cantona_Collars A. Very close to A+, as I would say only behind Denis Law as an out-and-out striker
