Was talking to someone about this, why is it that the default in XIV seems to be to just have groups that go into raid with the expectation of blowing up after prog is done?
Everyone complains about how awful recruitment is but most groups i see last like a tier and then implode

@tenkayshijou yeah but u just climb the ladder thats what i did when i started ive been through close to a dozen statics for different raid content at this point till i settled on one that meets my expectations and i enjoy raiding with

@tenkayshijou there can be a billion reasons, you make new friends in those 6 months or you know someone that wants you to join, xiv players love to snowball idk what it is, if 1 person leaves someone else will feel tempted to aswell and it can just keep going

@Gyohdo Yeah but if you are gonna do the next content anyway and this prog went fine why would you leave the group and look for another one and just not be "ok we come back in 6 months for next savage"
I guess my issue is why is the default to just return to having no group

@tenkayshijou which can cause them to leave either during prog and just go pf or after its done regardless of how long it takes. Lot of people just don't feel as attached to statics as others do at the end of the day

@tenkayshijou and usually expectations are the biggest killer, if you make a post saying ur a very casual, 2-4 hours a day, weekends only static, you are probably not gonna have any expectations, but someone is gonna join thats not gonna be struggling as much as others are in the group

@kyurin_twt @discord_support they are notoriously bad at responding to support tickets in a reasonable time frame, if u have a card connected to the account id step it up to ur bank and they will get on discords ass

It’s officially been a month 🙃 still waiting on any responses from @discord_support but given how overwhelming the evidence I provided in the email was, I am remaining optimistic. Hopefully none of you have gotten hacked by the person pretending to be me :(

@JaciBun It’s not to say everyone is a freak, it only takes 1 to ruin a venue in my eyes, but there’s so little people that will do actual RP without sexual expectations that the whole concept to me is dead on this game. Plenty of cool people ive met through it when i did though
