Debating strongly putting out videos of the "how to fix your car" or "basic building techniques" for the Zoomers that aren't condescending Boomertards talking down to them I think their generation has a lot of potential, we work with a few here They work harder than any Boomer Maybe bring some of the youngers on too and have them explain what they do or did I got a 23 year old with an excavating company 25 year old linesman Electricians, you name it All under 30, hell even a horse trainer I feel like their disconnect isn't only money, but networking and community With online being king, I doubt they have parties with a bro and all go fix a car for instance We need to bring all this back, and thats one of the reasons we started our farm Work with local schools to engage the youth, fill the massive public school education gap, and help people learn a skill for the future I just don't think X would give 2 shits about it, so it would'nt reach the audience Maybe when we spin up on other platforms, but the kids are our future Boomers the past, so its far beyond time we ignore them. Ride out the last of their idiocy here for a decade or so Then go ahead and move on with sensible people. Call me an optimist🤣 Now, enjoy this Thubdercats themed Challenger I saw today

Ok, gloves off. Fuck it. CCP wants US open borders to dissolve the US and render it dysfunctional. FSB wants US closed borders to maximize multipolarity / break ties with allies in their backyard. Anybody pushing for any of these extremes is a useful idiot to foreign agents.

@DreamweaverOnX i like mine for quick stuff, easier to just toss it on the tractor battery in than to lug a gas can or whatever around. but anything of decent size is tough

@DWDrummer_eth oh sure, we are moving along now but money is getting tight paying these gas prices. We usually get higher around this time for the tourist season but nearly 6 dollar diesel is not gud

so adding a middleman (the government) and schools is going to somehow make life cheaper for taxpayers in the middle class? Because thats who pays for this stuff, its not a private business that makes its own money. Why not reduce taxes by the same amount food costs abd let people buy their own?

The program is popular because even the middle class is struggling right now. Working class families across Michigan are struggling to afford groceries, keep the lights on and pay the mortgage. We are not lazy. The fact that our kids can get both breakfast and lunch at school greatly helps spread the grocery budget of many families, including mine. “Republicans” of Michigan and their paid shills are so out of touch.
Anna Hoffman@shoesonplease

This program is popular because busy families are lazy; not necessarily poor. Working class families see it as a convenience. Rich families still won’t use it. All it does is make economic gaps wider at the lunch table. And it will cost all of us whether we use it or not -

@GypsyD24 I did a complete facade insulation work, installibg gutters, making house frame with rocks and assembling full kitchen. Although plenty of tutorialas for the above...they cover the job as a whole and not tips and tricks that are in the details. And there you can make mistakes.

@GypsyD24 @dpattenjr No he just has a service friendly platform. A jack, good socket kit, drain pan, cordless impact. All could fit in a trunk and all you need. The OP is acting like you need a fucking tire factory to replace a water pump or something 🤣

Tools to change your oil are limited to a catch pan, a wrench or socket to remove the drain plug and a filter wrench if you have pajeet-level grip strength. Virtually every auto parts store will take the old oil. This will fit in the trunk.
JD Rockwell, Jr.@JDRockwellJr

Fun question: Exactly where is a guy in an apartment with roommates - because he can't afford a real house - supposed to keep the tools to do oil changes, let alone change out a water pump or replace a wheel bearing? And where does he even do it? Boomers take space for granted.

@GypsyD24 My YouTube history is shit like how to build geodesic homes, converting water to hydrogen through electrolysis, building wood burners and capturing wood gas, lots of physics, and how do I replace/fix[enter appliance or machine]. I'm like an 80 y/o sans WWI movies 🤣

@ronawaysparks it trult depends where you are and here there are like 4 big farmers that do it so they get the business mainly. My neighbor has a few and we trade eggs, milk soon etc. or i go fix his fence. Kinda nice to run some wire and get a freezer full of steaks hahah

As a human doing these things everyday it sounds awesome (and is) But unless you are farming at scale or have a hefty outside salary This stuff is a ton of work that mosy people I know couldn't afford to take on The 1/4 cow thing is good, if you have freezer space, but its more like 6 bucks to 7 for a pound here

We did too, and sold a house. The hardest part was farming out things i didnt know how to do or didnt have equipment because of price. Like concrete was 18k. well 14k. the rest I am building myself, awesome, but we have had like 10 price changes since our initial, then midway reviews on projections. The best thing you can do tho is buy a tractor and a handful of the most useful implements for what you are doing.
