@LarossTix @herechigoes I meant it as a joke as people joke that Pascal Siakam has no bag since his go-to move is a spin move in the post to get a bucket. When I watch Cam Boozer his entire offense is just bully ball in the paint.

@H2Michigan @herechigoes It’s hilarious because this is a compliment. It’s only seen as an insult because Siakam developed into the player he is now and wasn’t highly touted. Siakam is a 4x all star and NBA Champion. That’s already a top 1% NBA career even for a top 3 pick and he’s still going.

@Playoffcity Other players look to avoid the contact but SGA initiates the contact and embellishes it to make it look like the other player is impeding him. A lot of the times these guys are in a legal position but SGA makes it look like they're not.

It’s really not that weird. What’s more valuable? A guy who just looks for his own shot, can score but doesn’t create for his teammates, so only 1 guy is in a rhythm making shots? Or a guy who makes it so all 5 guys on the floor are in rhythm, all 5 guys are hitting shots, feeling good about themselves & defense has to worry about all 5 guys instead of just 1?

@CollegeHoopsTIk Not trying to take away his assists but his scoring is an issue. A lot his points are from embellishing contact and getting to the stripe. I’ve seen him miss a lot of field goals that a truly elite player would make. I’d love to see the stats of his FG% in traffic.

Now that Michigan State’s season is over, let’s take a moment to truly appreciate how elite Jeremy Fears Jr. was. Big Ten record 9.4 apg. Seven games with 12+ assists, including a 16-assist performance against Louisville in the tournament. Insane.

@SpartanLover13 @CBKReport Missed the tournament 12 times but the same amount of championship appearances in that time period. Izzo is great and an all-time coach but when he retires we’re still gonna ask why he wasn’t able to win more.

@CBKReport Michigan has missed the tournament entirely 12 times during this timespan. There fans are a complete joke who don’t know how to handle having a top team and it shows.

@detxspartan @CBKReport When you’re consistently good, making deep runs is not enough. You think the blue bloods are happy just because they make the elite 8 and maybe the elite four? No, their standard for a successful season is the championship. It’s about getting over the hump.

@CBKReport People are just uneducated about college sports Part of what makes college sports so great is that you don’t need to win a title to have a season worth remembering. I’ll always remember the 2021 K9 season or the 2013 Rose Bowl game as an MSU fan You don’t get that in the pros

@CBKReport Why are people so dumb? Izzo's overall record is great, his performance this decade (because his teams can't shoot and age is negatively impacting him likely) is not impressive - Michigan is better. THIS decade, he is hardly great.

@softhandstimmy For a lot of teams that would be a success. For MSU and other top teams in college basketball, it's about getting over the hump and winning it all. This is especially true when when you're consistently making it to the Sweet 16 because that is now the expectation and floor.

@Brodymauemsufan Huh, higher seeds get an easier route to the elite 8 than lower seeds. Go figure. Is that a hard concept for MSU fans to understand or something?

To the casual eye, you will see this box score and think, “Wow, this man had an all time great game!” But no? That’s not what actually transpired. First things first, he shot 42% from the field and 20% from 3, a horrendous scoring night. Secondly, you have to ask yourself how did he get so many assists. I will tell you. Several simple DHO’s to Jamal Murray who had 53 POINTS, and he FORCED passes to his teammates to statpad. In the 4Q, a female Denver Nuggets commentator stated that Jokic didn’t want to shoot the wide open floater, instead, he wanted to pass and find a teammate. This is shameless stat padding from a person who values numbers over winning. Thirdly, you see he had 21 rebounds. You must wow, that’s great! But how many were defensive? That’s right, 21! 21 defensive rebounds. Now you had to ask yourself how is this possible. I will tell you. Nikola Jokic does not play ANY defense at all. He does not contest shots (this is why they nearly lost to a tanking team) and stays under the rim PRAYING the opponents miss their shots so he can grab the rebound WHICH ARE ALMOST ALWAYS UNCONTESTED. So in conclusion, he had a horrendous shooting night, forced passes and made his teammates shoot to get him assists, went back into his non shooting gimmick, and stat padded uncontested rebounds. This is why we watch basketball with our eyes, and not box scores or mathematic equations.

I hate that sports culture is so ring driven now It’s possible to have a really good season without winning a National Championship
