@H2REdinburgh My cat would never forgive me if I took in another cat. This is the look I got for letting a stranger fix my front door.

Help2Rehome Scotland@H2RScotland

Sasha is a beautiful male Maine Coon cross. He is available and sadly looking for a home as his owner has passed away. Sasha is 12 years old, he is chipped and neutered and would suit a home with no other animals as this is what he has been use to. He would be okay with older children such as teenagers. Sasha is also registered at the vets and likes treats. He is very furry and eats a mix of dry and wet food. Sasha is also litter trained. For information or to offer Sasha a home please email info@help2rehome.com Sorry we are unable to reply to messages to the page. If you can't offer a home at this time please consider sharing Sasha's appeal to help him on his way.

Lola is a 14 month old female Fluffy French Bulldog. She is available and looking for a new home. Lola would suit someone who is home all day or someone looking for a companion. She is chipped and spayed and gets on well with meeting new people, she gets excited but soon calms down. She eats adult dry dog food and can be left on her own for up to 4 hours. Lola is fine with other dogs outside although hasn’t lived with a dog. She is fine with children. She plays with toys and is registered at the vets. Lola loves treats and is good in the car. For more information please email info@help2rehome.com with a bit about yourself to be considered. A home check will be arranged first. Sorry we are unable to accept calls or messages to the page, please email for any enquiries.

We're still looking for a home for Bjorn, can you please share his appeal to help him on his way? Bjorn is a 5 year old male Dutch Shepherd. He is available and looking for a new home. Bjorn is good with children and has a friendly and affectionate nature. He can be bouncy and excitable, so would be best suited to a home with older children as he could accidentally knock over smaller kids. Bjorn is used to living with another dog and can get on well with calm, respectful dogs who give him space. However, he will need careful and managed introductions to unfamiliar dogs, as he can become reactive if they invade his space or if he becomes overstimulated. With the right guidance, he is able to remain neutral. Bjorn is currently used to canine company and may take some time to adjust to being the only dog in the household. He would not be suited to a home with cats or small animals due to his high prey drive, as he is likely to chase. Bjorn is chipped, fully vaccinated, up to date with flea and worming treatments, and has no medical issues. He is registered with a vet, travels well in the car, and can be left alone during the day without problems. He sleeps in the living room at night and is fully house trained. He eats grain free white fish and potato dry food. Bjorn enjoys toys, treats, and especially loves human affection. He is very gentle and affectionate, forming strong bonds with his people and loving cuddles. He has a good “off switch” in the home and is happy to relax and nap once settled. Bjorn walks well on the lead but can be strong at times, particularly in new environments. Due to his prey drive, he may try to chase if off lead, so continued training and awareness in open spaces will be important. He understands a wide range of commands including sit, down, paw, wait, bed, stand and drop, and enjoys training and learning new things. Bjorn would benefit from an owner who is willing to continue his training and build a strong bond with him, particularly around dog interactions. He thrives with structure, guidance, and consistency. He would be best suited to a couple or family with older children, ideally with no other pets, or possibly a calm, well-matched dog. He would thrive in a calm but active home with owners who understand shepherd breeds and can give him time to settle and reach his full potential. Bjorn is a handsome, loving boy who is deeply loyal and happiest when close to his people. For more information please email info@help2rehome.com Sorry we are unable to reply to messages to this page.

Remembering Jan. Back in February we were asked for assistance from the owner of Rada to find her a new home, as sadly Jan's cancer had spread and she wasn't sure how much time she had left. Jan gave us clear instructions to find Rada a good loving home with someone who will love her as much as she did. We didn't hear from Jan for a few weeks, and then she got back in touch to let us know that she was moving into end of life care. Rada went to Brumley Brae Kennels in Elgin for a few days, but sadly Jan wasn't able to care for her anymore. From there, we started the search to find Rada a new home and where delighted when Paul Cobley and his wife from Kilwinning, North Ayrshire, got in touch to offer Rada a new home. Thanks to Alison our home checker who managed to get a home check done very quickly, meaning if the home was successful, Rada would not have to spend long in kennels. The home inspection was completed and we sent the report to Jan. Jan was very happy with the offer of a home and felt comforted that Rada would be well looked after and loved. Rada was rehomed on 24th March 2026 with the help of our transport volunteers who got her from Elgin to Kilwinning. We managed to share some photos and updates with Jan in that time for her own peace of mind. Jan's friend got in touch this morning to say that Jan passed away last week. Our hearts where quite sore this morning, however we know that Jan left this world in the knowledge that the dog she loved so much was safe and in her forever home. Thank you to everyone who supported by sharing Rada's appeals back in March, Paul and his wife, all of the transporters and volunteers who helped get this girl her new home and also the staff at Brumley Brae Kennels in Elgin. Rest in peace Jan. x
