@ManyDubs Plushies are easier to mass produce QUICKLY. Action figures need a lot of very expensive casting and machinery tweaking to get up and running. You can definitely make more action figures after that process is done, but the upfront cost is much higher.

So let's deconstruct this: She hired Sean well before the allegations against him became public (TADC recording started late 2022, since the teaser came out in January 2023. The allegations became public in 2024). So it's disingenuous at best that she "hired a known pedophile". Could it have been talked about privately? There's always that possibility, but I doubt it, since there was little, if any, public discussion about it before July 2024. Justifying pedophile jokes is easy. They are off color, crude JOKES. You might not like the jokes being said, but that's a you problem, not a her problem. And where is the proof of her admitting to having "slurs waiting in her drafts"? She has stated a few times to having "really, really edgy jokes" in her drafts, but I can't find anywhere where she specifically stated she had slurs. Please provide proof to the claim.

Let's pretend she's not racist. (She is. But stay with me). How would you justify her hiring a known pedophile and making pedophile jokes. She openly admitted to having slurs waiting in her drafts.

There's no other place I would want to talk about this conversation because it would remove the context of the conversation. Plus, debating is healthy. It can help solve disagreements and offer insight and information to maybe change views. What I got out of this is that people hyper focused on a few crude things Gooseworx said and squinted REALLY HARD to make it seem maybe bad. "Oh my goodness she said 'nega' and it sounds like a naughty word if you squint and plug your ears, and as a white woman how dare she say a word that sounds similar to another awful word!" Like seriously? It makes sense in the context of how it was said with the correct meaning of the word applied. She didn't sprint up to the closest black dude and sucker punched him while screaming a slur at him, she commented on a live stream that Michael Kovack, Angel dust's VA for Hazbin Hotel, was on about Angel Dust's face being on a dark gray shirt with the words "kill my fucking face" under it. Anyone who has seen Hazbin Hotel would easily know that's the opposite of what the character of Angel Dust would want. It's an Anti-Angel Dust, or Negative Angel. Nega-Angel, if you will. And then trying to frame her for being awful because of people she associates with is disingenuous at best. We all surround ourselves with questionable people all the time. People overlook the one or two rough edges in friendships every day because if they didn't, nobody would have any friends because nobody is morally perfect. We cannot control what others do, so yelling at someone because their friend/acquaintance did a dumb is in of itself dumb. So the fact the people bring up OTHER PEOPLES DRAMA to prove Gooseworx is somehow racist holds zero water. It is perfectly reasonable to not like some of the things she said, or the jokes she's made with crude humor. It takes a special amount of fucked up to find that stuff funny. But jokes like they were the norm in the Wild West days of the Internet, back when the chans weren't neutered and newgrounds and tumblr was where all the chaos goblins were at. Gooseworx is making the equivalent of awful Dad jokes from a bygone era of recent history, and all these people screaming racism were probably nothing but twinkles in their father's eyes at that point. They don't understand, and they refuse to understand, so they throw fits to make themselves feel like victims because of words not even directed at them, or anyone really, unless you squint while looking at them and tilting your head 90 degrees while standing on one foot to make it seem like it could maybe be directed at someone close to the vicinity of them at some point, maybe. Joking about being a racist because you're not playing two admittedly super difficult characters in Overwatch in 2016 doesn't make you racist. Saying the word "Nega" isn't at all saying a slur if you are using it to describe a character being the opposite of themselves (Like NegaChin in Fairly Odd Parents being an evil villain, the opposite of the Chin being a good hero. Gasp!) Making crude incest jokes doesn't mean you like incest or approve of it or whatever. Because it's a crude joke. Associating yourself with questionable people does not make you responsible for their questionable antics. Causation does not equal correlation.

@RetroReina Gooseworx is very much the personification of what the Internet was like in the early 2000's. Crude, edgy, and free like the Wild West. Honestly, I like her humor, but it's definitely a stark contrast to the modern, sanitized Internet
