There must be consequences not only for the offenders, but for the officials, authorities and institutions that looked the other way, including the toughest possible punishments, from castration to life sentences. Today on his 66th birthday, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, arising from his dealings with Jeffrey Epstein, whose wicked network systematically raped, abused and trafficked women and girls. Under an @_AdvanceUK government, sexual abuse of any kind would not be tolerated. Women and children must be protected. We stand for equality under the law. That includes the Royal Family. As stated in clause 40 of the Magna Carta: "To no one will we sell, to no one will we deny or delay right or justice." An Advance UK government would: 1. Implement mandatory chemical castration for sex offenders. Which has already been trialled in the UK under a voluntary basis. Germany, Denmark and Poland have also used chemical suppression for some sex offenders. In California it is also a condition of some parole licences. 2. Stamp out violence against women and children, including the heinous rape gangs which are a stain on our nation’s history, and its institutions. There has been a 41% increase in rapes and domestic violence in Glasgow, the rape crisis centre there is so overwhelmed it had to close its waiting list. A woman is killed by a man every three days in the UK. Violence against women and girls makes up just under 20% of all recorded crime in England and Wales. 3. Pursue those in authority who failed in their duties, whoever they are, and bring them to justice. Delivering root and branch restructuring of systems in all institutions which enabled the cover-ups to happen. 4. Ensure women’s voices have a powerful seat at the table in all policy and governmental decisions. We would ensure that our leadership promotes women and that our female members have a direct say on policies that impact them. We pledge to make the United Kingdom a high trust society where women and children are safe again. We must root out evil at its core, and stop it NOW! The times of making light of such travesty with ‘Randy Andy’ jokes are over! Under an Advance UK, violence against women and children will end!
