I guess I'll be hearing his plane touchdown today in Groton. He's speaking at the United States Coast Guard Academy graduation ceremony across the river in New London. I've heard the jet engines before with important people coming and going over at the field. I was often excited and felt pride. I felt secure in knowing that we got some pretty smart people seeing to it that our national affairs were in good hands. Today I'll hear those jet engines over the hill and I'll want to puke, wondering how in the name of F could this country so needlessly self-immolate by elevating such a ridiculous, self-serving grift machine and dangerous "man*. Trump doesn't deserve to be connected to the thunderous sound of those jet engines I'll be hearing as would any other president, be they Democratic or Republican.
