Today we pay tribute to the medical missionary and philosopher #AlbertSchweitzer on his birthday. He was the inspiration for the founding of our hospital. Dr. Schweitzer’s #reverenceforlife philosophy continues to guide our care of patients today.

11 years ago a devastating #earthquake shook #Haiti. We remember the lives lost and recognize the medical professionals & volunteers who rose up to help at Haiti’s darkest hour. For weeks afterwards, HAS provided refuge and care to many hundreds of injured patients.

2021 has been designated the #InternationalYearofHealthandCareWorkers. We celebrate our dedicated medical team for their sacrifices & hard work every day to save lives & improve the health of countless patients. And we celebrate you for your ongoing support of their work!
