Crews are on scene of a commercial building fire in the 7100 block of Kit Kat Rd., Elkridge. All occupants safely evacuated the facility prior to crews arriving. Any visible fire was quickly located and extinguished. No reported injuries at this time.

Firefighters are on the scene of a house fire in the 4600 block of Woodland Road in Ellicott City. Crews quickly located and extinguished a fire in the basement. No reported injuries.

Crews are beginning to clear the scene. One civilian was evaluated and refused transport. Another civilian was transported to the hospital with burn injuries. Two adults are displaced, and Red Cross has been notified. Final update.

Firefighters are on the scene of the 10600 block of High Beam Court in Columbia for house fire. Crews have water on the fire and are evaluating two civilian patients.

This morning at approximately 0445, units from HCFR responded to a working commercial fire in 6000 block of Route 1 in Elkridge. Units arrived to find smoke showing from the building. Crews were able to quickly locate the fire and extinguish it. The building was unoccupied at the time of the fire. There are no injuries and an investigation to determine the cause is underway.

The bulk of the fire is under control. Crews will be remaining on scene for an extended period for overhauling.
