🌍 Proud to Share a Milestone for HCLFoundation at IIT Bombay! 💧 Ankit Kumar and Shreya Sharma from Harit presented two research abstracts showcasing our water conservation work at HCLFoundation at the 5th National Environmental Conference 2026, IIT Bombay. Their presentations highlighted critical insights on groundwater depletion in the Indo‑Gangetic Aquifer in Gautam Buddha Nagar and the restoration of small water bodies to strengthen water security and climate resilience in rapidly urbanizing landscapes. The conference witnessed participation from leading academic institutions, including the University of Illinois, several IITs and NITs, along with major industry organizations such as Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, Tata Consultancy Services, Welspun Group, Adani Ventures, and Indian Oil Corporation. It was encouraging to see HCLFoundation’s community‑led water conservation initiatives being appreciated by experts across academia and industry. The studies reinforce our commitment to driving environmental impact and building water‑secure, climate‑resilient communities under Harit. @hcltech @HCLHarit #HCLFoundation #WaterConservation #EnvironmentalResearch #Sustainability #ClimateResilience #WaterSecurity #Harit #CommunityImpact #EnvironmentalConference #ResearchForImpact #SustainableFuture #WaterManagement

Today, she is the President of the Aroha Hirkani Women Cluster, where 25 women work together creating uniforms and garments. From coordinating orders to mentoring women in new designs and techniques, Komal is helping many women move towards confidence, leadership, and financial independence. Her journey is a powerful reminder that when one woman rises, she lifts many others with her. @hcltech #IWD2026 #GiveToGain #WomenEmpowerment #InternationalWomensDay #ArohaStories #WomenLeadership

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate women who are protecting both their communities and the environment they depend on. In Penthakotta village of Puri, Rukmini, a member of the marine fisher community, has emerged as a strong advocate for coastal conservation. Living with her family and two children, her life is closely tied to the sea and the livelihoods it sustains. Through the SPANDAN initiative, Rukmini began mobilizing women from her Self-Help Group to take part in regular beach clean-up drives. What began with uncertainty soon turned into purpose as she realized how cleaner coastlines support healthier marine ecosystems and safer fishing livelihoods. Today, her group removes nearly 100 kilograms of waste from the beach every month, including harmful ghost nets , an effort that has earned her recognition as a Marine Eco Champion in her hamlet. The impact is visible: cleaner beaches, stronger fishing outcomes, and a safer, vibrant space for the community. Rukmini’s journey reminds us that when women step forward to protect what sustains their communities, they inspire lasting change. @hcltech #InternationalWomensDay #SheLeadsChange #GirlsInSports #WomenEmpowerment

#SheLeadsChange - Talent shines brightest when backed by discipline, opportunity, and belief - and Akshaya N S embodies all three. Representing India in Rugby, Akshaya recently received a ₹5,00,000 cash award from the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu under the Chief Minister High Cash Incentives 2026, presented by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, a proud milestone in her journey as a national athlete. At the International Conference on ‘ESG Transversality for Sustainable Water–Energy–Health and Environment Nexus’, at the 2nd Edition of the Water Transversality Global Awards and Conclave 2026, Dr. Nidhi Pundhir, SVP – Global CSR, HCLTech & Director, HCLFoundation, shared insights on how water conservation, ESG priorities, and CSR frameworks can come together to create measurable and sustainable impact. Reflecting on the idea of transversality, she highlighted that sustainability challenges cannot be addressed in isolation. When organizations undertake water conservation initiatives within the CSR framework, it is essential to adopt scientific approaches that ensure accountability, measurable outcomes, and long-term impact. Dr. Pundhir also emphasized the importance of protecting water as a shared community resource, noting that conservation efforts must begin with a clear understanding of what already exists. She spoke about how mapping exercises carried out with the support of technology and local knowledge revealed significant gaps between official records and the actual presence of water bodies on the ground. In districts like Gautam Buddha Nagar, this effort helped identify hundreds of water structures, enabling authorities to restore many of them into official records and prevent changes in land use. Building on this foundation, HCLFoundation initiated focused efforts to revive and restore traditional water bodies, guided by the ideas of Punar-Jeevan and Jino-Dhar. Similar interventions were later expanded across multiple geographies in the country. She further noted that impactful CSR initiatives must be designed with clear benchmarks and measurable frameworks, enabling organizations to demonstrate tangible on-ground change over time. @hcltech #HCLFoundation #WaterConservation #WaterStewardship #ClimateAction #SustainableDevelopment

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the strength of women who grow together and rise together. Since 2020, Poonam and her team at Eefrah NGO have nurtured more than self-help groups - they have nurtured confidence. What began as small circles of support has evolved into a powerful network of 180 self-help groups, connecting nearly 3,000+ women determined to build independent futures. From handcrafted creations to stitched garments, these women are transforming skills into sustainable livelihoods. Through their association with My E-Haat by HCLFoundation, they have gained more than market access. They have gained mentorship, exposure, and the knowledge to strengthen their craft from sourcing raw materials wisely to refining quality, pricing strategically, and engaging customers confidently. Today, products from nearly 80+ groups are showcased across platforms each piece carrying a story of resilience, creativity, and collective ambition. When women are supported with opportunity, guidance, and fair access to markets, they do more than earn they build ecosystems of empowerment. They step forward as entrepreneurs, decision-makers, and changemakers within their communities. Because real progress happens when talent meets opportunity and together, #SheLeadsChange @hcltech @HclUday #HCLfoundation #MyEHaat #InternationalWomensDay #WomenEntrepreneurs #SelfHelpGroups #IWD2026 #GivetoGain
