Opened Twitter today for the first time in forever… TIL 250k US kids caught Covid in a week; there is “no proof” that mask-wearing would have helped those children; the Civil War killed anywhere from 250-750k people; and Three is bringing back roaming charges. Yikes.

@jakemcgraw And make sure you don’t get any part of your care from an out-of-network provider working at the hospital, otherwise it’s 100% of however much that provider decides to balance bill you…

@vgargMD Yes! Much of it is also irresponsible outsourcing of decision-making, with little awareness of or regard for the numerous pitfalls lurking in casual “analytics” that are overladen with hidden assumptions, or too shallow to provide any true value.

How much of our pursuit of “data-driven insights” is just avoiding real conversations with people where we listen?

Ehm... I would reconsider calling yourself a "watchdog" if you overlook something heinous for 21 years... 🙄

@sacjai Industry seems to think it is exempt from a dedication to customer service because it's in the business of "saving lives"... This need to change. Why do we industry professionals feel like patients should just "let us do our jobs"? How often do we view patients as a hassle? Tsk

Every article ever about Apple over the last 5 years: "There's an innovation and growth problem at Apple! Could this be the beginning of the end at Apple? No way—Apple is still Apple." #original #journalismtoday #brainfry

Hey @spinncoffee! Since you seem to be having as much trouble getting your updates published as you are getting your machine to production, maybe it's time to start publishing updates about when to expect the updates about when to expect the machine... just sayin' 😂 #someta

Weight Watchers is renaming to "WW", Dunkin' is dropping "donuts" from its name, maybe Trump can drop "President" from his? 😂

@A_Schwa One could argue countries like North Korea have probably successfully "removed financial incentives" in healthcare? 😂😁

@MorningConsult The story this data reveals isn't about Kaepernick; it's about the intense negative reactions that older generations had to LBJ & Serena. If anything, drop in positivity slowed when Kaepernick showed. Don't make the data fit the story you want; let it tell its own story...

Back at work after 4 weeks paternity leave... One key takeaway: the notion that vacations would be perfect if they were "only a bit longer" is certainly a fallacy: even four (!) weeks flew by!

Is this tweet phrased as a pointless question that I'm going to ask anyway, because I'm too lazy to engage you through quality content instead of clickbaiting?
