However, it has already been 18 days since I first raised my request. Initially, I was assured that the issue would be resolved within 5 days. Now again, I am being asked to wait another 7 days. I do not understand the reason for such repeated delays. I have clearly requested cancellation of my policy and refund of my money due to a medical emergency in my family. I need to travel to Chennai for my brother’s treatment, and I am facing a serious financial crisis. Despite sending several emails and providing all necessary information, I have still not received any proper resolution, cancellation, or refund. This delay is unacceptable. This is my own hard-earned money that I have invested in your company. I am not requesting any loan—I am simply asking for the return of my funds. I request you to treat this matter as urgent and process my cancellation and refund immediately. Any further delay will force me to escalate this matter to higher authorities.

However, I have still not received any refund or proper resolution. This delay is causing unnecessary mental harassment. As requested, I have already submitted all the supporting documents, but there has been no response from HDFC Life so far. This matter is extremely urgent due to a medical emergency in my family. I request you to kindly resolve this issue and process my refund by tomorrow EOD. I also request IRDAI to kindly look into this matter on an urgent basis. Looking forward to your immediate action.

Hello @HDFCLIFE So, let me get this straight: To take my money and issue the policy, the sales agent could visit me anywhere—even the moon—and no 'security reasons' prevented the issuance. But now, to prove that no misselling occurred and to share the consent form copy, the same process requires a branch visit? Your 'security reasons' seem to have a very convenient, profit-driven memory. The lack of transparency in sharing the Life Assured's consent speaks volumes about the validity of those very policies. @HDFC_Bank

I am facing a severe financial crisis due to a medical emergency in my family, as I need to urgently travel to Chennai for my cousin brother’s treatment. Even after clearly explaining the situation and sharing details, there has been no proper action taken from your side. This kind of delay and negligence is completely unacceptable. It raises serious concerns about your customer service and business practices. Holding back a customer’s money during a medical emergency is highly irresponsible. I expect a resolution on priority without any further delay.
