We had an eventful inaugural trawl today. We caught 3 blue catfish over 750 mm at 2 of our 3 sites. In our longterm surveys, this is the first record of #bluecatfish in the Rhode River estuary. #chesbay #invasive #SERCLT

Warm temps this week have put #riverherring season round 2 into full swing. Check out this clip of river herring, likely blueback herring, spawning at our downstream antenna. We tagged 100 fish this week and hope to track them as they move upstream and past old #BloedeDam.
