When Justice Becomes a Joke The decision by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) to grant pardon to the convicted husband killer, Maryam Sanda, left me outraged. It didn’t shock me as our nation has grown accustomed to impunity but it still filled me with outrage! Disgraceful!

The UK Govts silence in d face of Trump’s childish insults to d Mayor of London is shameful. To defend d dignity of our capital’s Mayor is not about personalities, it’s about defending British democracy itself. By choosing diplomacy over principle, Government has shown weakness

Kemi Badenoch claims she can’t pass Nigerian citizenship to her kids because she’s a woman. That’s false. Nigeria law allows either parent to confer citizenship by descent. Is she misinformed or just de-marketing Nigeria to score right-wing points?

From Jigawa state, I travelled to Minna, Niger State to pay a visit to a father figure, elder statesman and leader, the former military president, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, at his residence in Minna, Niger State. The visit was an opportunity to wish him a happy New Year and to exchange thoughts on national issues. General Babangida’s wisdom and perspectives remain very important and I always deeply appreciate the chance to visit him and listen to his invaluable advise and words of wisdom. A new Nigeria is POssible! -PO
