❤️ Printed Programmes!

So good to be working on a printed matchday programme once again - made all the sweeter by Temple Fortune FC reaching the Final! Once again, great printing by the king of printed programmes, @FootiePrint. Thanks James!

One tremendous programme from my Hendon collection, signed on 7th September 1968 at Claremont Road. Hendon supporters of those times can probably name everyone on there. Roy Sleap even signed it twice! A piece of memorabilia that evokes so many thoughts of great Hendon times!

I refereed Albanian 2s v Southgate County 4s today in the SAL and the home team, resplendent in their green and white kit, brilliantly won 11-2. Was great seeing Ben Bukowski again, such a friendly, pleasant guy - he came on as a sub and scored two goals, watched by Keagan Cole!

Browsing through X l saw this great compilation of programmes from James. For a fleeting few minutes it gave me the programme production bug back again! This time last year l was churning out plenty of real Hendon programmes. Ah well, was good whilst it lasted! Great work James.

Well, it was great catching up with quite a few Hendon and SJP people l hadn't seen for quite a while. The crowd was good too (412) and the noise from Felix and his merry men impressive, as was the large banner! Everything was going well l thought. And then the game started...

I had the pleasure of meeting Rod accompanied by his son after the Hendon v Merthyr Town fixture at SJP in 2022. Sincere condolences to his family - may the great Rod Haider RIP.

One such enquiry worth responding to publicly. Sorry, but again l must reiterate that l cannot assist in printed programmes this season.

@FootiePrint Quite agree, James. Needed to put it out there because it's not something l can help with. There are plenty of people who are missing the 'real thing' but it's no longer my concern. Sorry folks.

@HFCProgrammes I’ve had enquiries too. It’s a difficult situation because the club holds the copyright to the ‘document’ & any reproduction (for free or sale) is a c/r breach. Not to mention minimum print orders & delivery fee. Unless fans are willing to pay the club’s full costs, it’s a no go.

I've had a few enquiries via email about the possibility of printed copies of this season's Hendon programmes. As most HFC supporters are aware, they are appearing online and are NOT available in print. Getting them printed is not a service l can or would wish to undertake. Nigel

Delighted to have produced a full colour 44-page match programme for a Memorial Match being played next month at Rowley Lane. So good to work on a proper printed programme once again! Thank you to James @FootiePrint for getting it printed quickly. All l need are a pie and a pint!

@hfc_felix Cheers Felix though it means nothing now that the club has discarded printed programmes. I'm a big PPPP fan - Pie, Pint, Printed Programme! It's a travesty what has happened after all that incredible history of HFC programmes over many decades. The online stuff is not the same.

After 8 seasons I'm just pleased to finally make a programme awards list, for what it's worth! Thanks go to James @FootiePrint for submitting a few issues for SCSS to consider. Nice way to end the season - seeing 'Hendon' top of the 'Isthmian Premier' makes pleasant viewing!!
