@peterpme Its not out of the box so there is room for improvement. But as i feel like the app is logging + crash logs increase due to high cpu and memory usage, i run a few profilers and feed it. Then i test a few suggestions.

@peterpme I profiled a few actions and results (renders+commits) using Chrome DevTool’s performance profiler + React Devtools profiler. Then I fed it to Claude and asked to diagnose the high cpu usage. It recommended 5 changes 1 of them decreased the cpu % from 50% -> 10% Its good rn

React performance OOTB with AI is largely unsolved. It takes a lot of fine tuning to make something feel smooth and delightful. You may get away with it if your primary audience has an M4 with 64gb of ram though.

@suriyahsays But if you raised everyone’s salaries it doesn’t make everyone richer, it just raises the price of everything and drags more people into poverty that were there in the first place.

AI en çok iyi product designerların işine yaramalı bence. Ürün geliştirmeyi ve iyi design biliyorsun, kodu zaten AI yazıyor. Milyoner olmamak işten bile değil.

@zlashyyyy Mixed feelings How does it look when you make the background greyer and the cards whiter? So background (grey) -> card (white) -> button(darker grey)

@alpennec They updated the docs, but many of their UIs still have it on the top right. Shame

Apple updated its Human Interface Guidelines for Sheets on March 24, 2026 to add guidance for button placement in the toolbar. "In iOS & iPadOS, the Cancel button belongs on the leading edge of the top toolbar." @serhanbaydi Figma'nin ASO optimize etmesine gerek yok. App'i gosteren 1 screenshot olsa bile ayni sayida indirilirdi.

@peterpme Automated and deterministic. Something like E2E test to measure performance and memory leaks

As a society we desperately need a bulletproof approach to review react / react native PTRs with performance treated as a first class concern skills and lint rules aren't enough react compiler helps, but there are still too many ways to accidentally work around it this is not a react problem, it's a code review problem

@ParvezJalil @PolitlcsUK Close the borders, focus on improving the UK, improve safety for women & children. I am hoping the police are told to step up their efforts in preventing petty crime such as theft, as the weak approach has resulted in every day items like cheese being under lock and key.

Resend started as a frustration. As an indie hacker, working nights and weekends, I felt like every email service was built for someone else. So I decided to create my own. Today @marclou runs 33 startups solo on it. I know Resend is not for everyone (and that's okay), but it feels nice to be able to build products for other indie hackers.

Easiest way to protect yourself: 1. Use npm/pnpm/bun 2. Set minimum release age npm has this setting too, you don’t need another package manager to enable it
TANSTACK@tan_stack

SECURITY ADVISORY — TanStack npm packages A supply-chain compromise affecting 42 @tanstack/* packages (84 versions total) was published to npm earlier today at approximately 19:20 and 19:26 UTC. Two malicious versions per package. Status: ACTIVE — packages are deprecated, npm security engaged, publish path being shut down. Severity: HIGH — payload exfiltrates AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and Vault credentials, GitHub tokens, .npmrc contents, and SSH keys. If you installed any @tanstack/* package between 19:20 and 19:30 UTC today, treat the host as potentially compromised: • Rotate cloud, GitHub, and SSH credentials immediately • Audit cloud audit logs for the last several hours • Pin to a prior known-good version and reinstall from a clean lockfile Detection — the malicious manifest contains: "optionalDependencies": { "@tanstack/setup": "github:tanstack/router#79ac49ee..." } Any version with this entry is compromised. The payload is delivered via a git-resolved optionalDependency whose prepare script runs router_init.js (~2.3 MB, smuggled into each tarball at the package root). Unpublish is blocked by npm policy for most affected packages due to existing third-party dependents. All 84 versions are being deprecated with a SECURITY warning, and npm security has been engaged to pull tarballs at the registry level. Full technical breakdown, complete package and version list, and rolling status updates: github.com/TanStack/route… Credit to the security researcher for responsible disclosure.
