@MichaelStanwyck @g_gosden @HumbleFlow In 1925, 1 in 8 children died before the age of 5. In 2025, it’s 1 in 227. There were fewer sick kids running around 100 years ago because they died.
English

@g_gosden @HumbleFlow This is about children, not infants
English
@themadnewfie @Katie___Simpson We wouldn’t pay this tax. It’s a tax on revenue that companies like Google earn from Canadians.
English

@Katie___Simpson Yup - its also worth saying that we are already being taxed to death - so having another tax get squashed is a good thing
English
@BunchesOfStoats @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone Yeah, I claimed that… because that is the case…
English

@HFX @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone I've explained it to you a couple times now.
You clearly didn't understand what you were replying to, because you claimed that human life didn't start at fertilization, "per Canadian law" 😂🤣
Again, you can see the conversation in the screenshot I've QTed for you
English

Life expectancy in your grandparents time was about 55
Beef tallow didn't seem to do the trick then...
ⁿᵉʷˢ Robert F. Kennedy Jr.@RobertKennedyJc
MAHA tip of the day: Your great-grandparents cooked with tallow for a reason. Unlike seed oils, grass-fed beef tallow is stable, nourishing, & rich in fat-soluble vitamins. Toss the seed oils. Cook with tallow, butter, or ghee! Healthy fats fuel healthy families! MAHA

@BunchesOfStoats @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone Honey Bunches of Stoats, I have no idea what your qualm is. I haven’t changed my stance on anything.
English

@HFX @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone Again, that isn't what you were arguing against:

Honey Bunches of Stoats 🇻🇦🇺🇸@BunchesOfStoats
@HFX @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone You'll notice that this is you changing the topic from what you originally said. Their claim was that abortion ends a human life, at which point you said Canadian law disagrees with that scientific fact. Did you perhaps not understand what they were saying?
English
@BunchesOfStoats @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone And since legally, a fetus is not legally considered to have personhood, it isn’t legally considered murder. They picked a line.
English

@HFX @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone It is a pivot, and they are two different things.
Still waiting on your refutation, but I honestly think you just got confused.
English
@MillerTalk_Pod @MechaNick72 @SmurfeysSmaw @IHJWAMH @DrNeilStone What pills do you take if you had a missed miscarriage and what pills do you take for an elective termination?
English

@HFX @MechaNick72 @SmurfeysSmaw @IHJWAMH @DrNeilStone Matter of factly the intent does matter and they are not the same procedure. Two of the three are medical procedures and one is murder.
English
@MillerTalk_Pod @MechaNick72 @SmurfeysSmaw @IHJWAMH @DrNeilStone They’re the same thing. It’s the same medical procedure. Intent doesn’t matter.
English

@HFX @MechaNick72 @SmurfeysSmaw @IHJWAMH @DrNeilStone That’s a lie made up by pro-abortion propagandist to make you think treating a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy is an abortion. That is false. No one who is pro-life has a problem with those being treated correctly.
English
@BunchesOfStoats @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone That’s not a pivot. That’s the same thing phrased two different ways. Abortion isn’t murder because a fetus doesn’t have personhood.
English

@HFX @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone You pivoted from arguing that "abortion doesn't end human life" to "unborn children aren't people".
English
@BunchesOfStoats @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone I’m not sure what change you’re seeing.
English

@HFX @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone You'll notice that this is you changing the topic from what you originally said. Their claim was that abortion ends a human life, at which point you said Canadian law disagrees with that scientific fact.
Did you perhaps not understand what they were saying?

English
@Shannon_10Ten @dansenyeah @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone Lots of people agree, which is why it’s the law in lots of countries.
English

@HFX @dansenyeah @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone Personhood is nothing more than a subjective philopshical and legal construct that no two people can agree on.
English
@MechaNick72 @SmurfeysSmaw @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @DrNeilStone She also can’t treat a missed miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy.
English

@SmurfeysSmaw @HFX @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @DrNeilStone Sure. If they decide to have unprotected sex, then get pregnant, and want an abortion then it wasn't a good decision.
English
@MillerTalk_Pod @BunchesOfStoats @IHJWAMH @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone Needing a job and needing your mother’s circulatory system, are pretty different.
English

@HFX @BunchesOfStoats @IHJWAMH @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone So a new born baby is going to go get a job and pay for a house and food and feed themselves?
English
@MillerTalk_Pod @BunchesOfStoats @IHJWAMH @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone Sure, but people who have been born no longer require their mother’s body to survive. They’re their own person… at that point.
English

@HFX @BunchesOfStoats @IHJWAMH @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone At one point black people weren’t legally people either….
English
@MechaNick72 @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone Sure it has. Laws can change as society changes. I don’t think people should marry their first cousin, but it’s legal. But as of right now, personhood doesn’t apply to a fetus.
English
@dansenyeah @Shannon_10Ten @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone You aren’t grasping the point here. According to the law and medical definition, a fetus does not have personhood. Person is different than human. I realize that’ll raise your blood pressure but your feelings don’t change that.
English

@Shannon_10Ten @HFX @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone Absolutely correct. It's often part of a larger picture that seeks to remove the sacred and therefore the necessary response to that, from our activities
English
@BunchesOfStoats @watchingdaisies @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone This is true in most of the developed world. You’re welcome to believe that as soon as a clump of cells has electrical activity is a person (person is different than human), then have at it. That doesn’t change the legal status.
English

@watchingdaisies @HFX @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone And if HFX is correct about what these laws say, then Canada has apparently defined scientific falsehoods into their laws
Oh Canada
English
@BunchesOfStoats @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone A fetus isn’t legally a person. Thats the legal and also medical definition. How you personally feel about it doesn’t change that fact.
English

@HFX @IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone If that's the case, then Canadian law is in direct violation of scientific fact. IHJWAMH said things that are objective and provable scientific facts, not moral propositions.
English
@IHJWAMH @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone The law, at least in Canada, does not agree. Your feelings about the morality of that, doesn’t impact that reality. I haven’t even said if I agree or disagree, you assume that based on how these terms are defined.
English

@HFX @MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone You can believe whatever you want, but abortion is literally the ending of a human life. And when you intentionally end a human life, what is that called?
Location of the human life is moot.
English
@MillerTalk_Pod @SmurfeysSmaw @DrNeilStone A fetus doesn’t have personhood. You can believe whatever you want, that doesn’t change the definition of abortion. And lots of other people believe other things. Banning abortion denies women healthcare. It’s just what happens.
English

What about the person inside your uterus? They don’t get a say at all? Here I’m going to tell you my beliefs and we can take it from there.
I believe every person to be endowed with certain unalienable rights, at their conception, by their creator. All people are created equal. I hold these truths to be self evident.
