@endlibtyranny @LizShuler @ThePUPNews @CWAUnion The PG constantly flouts labor law. I would suggest you do some reading on the subject before posting a response like this. We strikers will see them in court on Monday. Watch for that report.

@LizShuler @ThePUPNews @CWAUnion Good to see someone challenging unions' unchecked power. Perhaps the real 'piece of work' is the system that prioritizes union politics over individual rights and free markets. Milton Friedman would nod in agreement.

JD Vance is a piece of work. Post-Gazette workers have been on strike for two years, battling relentless union-busting. Today, he crossed the picket line with his op-ed, throwing @ThePUPNews and @cwaunion members under the bus.

@LizShuler @ThePUPNews @CWAUnion It’s embarrassing for @jdvance to say he’s for workers like me and then cross the picket line for the scab @PittsburghPG w/ an op-ed. We’re focused on winning this strike over the law-breaking PG, which refuses to bargain fairly with its workers.

NewsGuild prez @gaufre confirms for me that JD Vance crossed a picket line by publishing an op-ed today in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, where workers are on strike. No excuse for it, he says. "JD Vance is a scab just like anybody else who crosses a picket line." h/t @metzgov

@shaman103 @PGHGuild I am a sensible person. I know when to stand up for myself and my colleagues. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is breaking the law. It needs to held accountable.

@catfish_chuck @bobbatzjr Check circulation and online usage figures for newspapers. They both count. And are still widely read. Try it -- You might learn something.

The longest continuous labor strike in the United States is right here in Pittsburgh, and it's also believed to be the longest strike ever in the city proper of any type (steel mill, coal mine, etc.) That seems like it's be a good story, especially for a Pittsburgh media outlet.
