🎾 | KS3 Tennis Competition Our Yr 7/8 Tennis team travelled over to Stockport School to compete in a tournament hosted by @StockportSHAPES in the glorious sunshine. Our pairings of Max & James and Emily & Alice did really well, winning plenty of games & finishing 2nd overall

⛳️ | Stockport Schools Golf Championships Six of our talented golfers took to the course on Friday to compete in the Stockport Schools Golf Championships @disley_golf_club. Congratulations to Preistnall School for coming out as champions 🏆 & big thanks to Disley GC for hosting

🎾 | Padel Coaching Fantastic morning for some of our KS3 students at @DecathlonUK where we received some first class coaching from Sue! Our students loved it and it’s such an inclusive game! A big thanks from us! We just need a few courts at school now… #padel

Football Success | 🏆⚽️ Huge congratulations to our Year 10 Footballers who brought home the double last night adding the Stockport League title to the Stockport Cup with a 3-0 victory over Kingsway. Big thanks to @stockportcounty for hosting & @stockportsfa for a great evening

⚽️ | Student Success Congratulations to Jack, Oresti and Archie who took to the field on Tuesday night for @stockportsfa U15’s who took on Wirral schoolboys in the Cheshire Senior Trophy Final in Chester. The boys performed brilliantly winning the game 4-1. 👍🏻

🎽 | Athletics We have our first Athletics meeting of the year next week at Woodbank Park. Run, Throw, Jump the choice is yours. Athletes are need to so please come and speak to one of the PE department for more information. #teamgrove

🏃 | Greater Manchester Cross Country Mr Black & Miss Verity at Heaton Park today co-ordinating the Stockport XC team. The team of included many Laurus Trust students including our very own A.Greenfield Y9 who ran superbly well. Full results to follow. #teamstockport

Year 8 Basketball Varsity | 🏀 We hosted Year 8 Varsity Basketball this evening. There were some great high scoring games taking place. In the end we were just pipped to the top spot but claimed a very respectful runner up place. Well done to our squad you all did fantastic!

Year 9 Varsity Success | ⚽️ 🏀 🏆 Our Year 9’s made the short trip to @chhspe to compete in the Basketball and Football. Both teams played well and displayed some fantastic play. The girls went onto win the Football competition and the boys finished a respectable fourth! 👍🏻

Year 10B Football Result ⚽️ Great game tonight for the Year 10B team as they took on St James. Having conceded early we fought back to be 2-1 up at the break. Three more goals in the second half meant the game finished 3-3. Really enjoyable evening of Football well done to all

Year 7B Football Result | ⚽️ 🏆 Our Year 7B team travelled over to Reddish Vale on Monday to take part in a tournament. The team went unbeaten scoring so great goals along the way to take the title. Well done to all involved! Also big thanks to @rvhs_pe for hosting #teamgrove
