First day of #EasterSchool to support GCSE Science and A Level Biology and Chemistry. Over 80 students attended 3 GCSE sessions this morning with A level sessions continuing this afternoon! 🔬🧪☢️

Last night we welcomed our 3rd round of external students for interview. Next week will be our last set of interviews for wave 1 applications. If you have applied for wave 2 we will be processing these in the coming weeks, keep a lookout for an email. #TeamHeanor

We have been learning about diseases and pathogens in @HeanorGateSA science lessons this week. An excellent array of bacteria from Y9 lessons!

Some of our Y7-10 students have been working with a Materials Engineer from Rolls Royce to evaluate material strength and their uses in aerospace engineering. Finding the tensile strength of chocolate is tasty! @HeanorGateSA #teamheanor #STEM #Science
