Thanks to @CoachOsovet and @HHS_MNTNEER_FB for a productive and competitive scrimmage...the Mountaineers look solid this year and were gracious hosts!

Final from the scrimmage: Heritage 13, Gatlinburg-Pittman 6. Heritage’s offense was smooth at times, but also it looked like the first scrimmage of the year. A few miscues hurt them on several drives. The defense, which returns nine of 11 starters, was terrific.

After the first half in this scrimmage, Heritage is up 7-0. Biggest standout was Heritage’s defense, which was lockdown and forced G-P to punt on 5 of 6 drives (the sixth was a Teagan Ruehling INT). Ethan Bryant hauled in a 39-yard TD for the only score.
