Last week, I sat down with our Regional Directors. Each and every day, they ensure the Department maintains close contact with state, local & Tribal partners & address the needs of communities served through HHS programs and policies. We appreciate your hard work & commitment.

Next week, I'll be hosting the inaugural HHS Sickle Cell Disease Summit on September 24 at 9:30AM in Washington, D.C. This event will allow stakeholders and community members to connect with patients, providers, and leaders that advance sickle cell disease care and research.

Medicare has reached agreements with manufacturers of all 10 drugs selected for drug price negotiation. That means the prices of these ten drugs will be cut 40% to 80%. And folks, this is only the first ten. We're not stopping here.
