Coaching at Hudson High School, I can confirm that we have some kids who don’t even know what division we are in. Some don’t even realize that the skills we compete are insanely hard for high schoolers. 😂

i always wonder if kids at high schools with cheer teams that like win nationals frequently actually know that their cheer team is that good or if they just think that’s how good all sideline teams are 😭😭

@CandlerClark You can flip and spin as long as there is an arm connection in high school cheer. We made sure it was legal this summer and have been training it since then. Definitely a crazy skill to watch performed!

@Coach_Hadsell Our season cost around $2000 and we offer lots of fundraising opportunities. You’re speaking on things you’re not educated on. I love HHS and want all our teams to be successful. It’s sad not all other coaches feel this way clearly based on your subtweeting.

@Coach_Hadsell When I played softball my parents paid more for my equipment than my cheerleaders pay for a season. It’s all about perspective. We all work hard to be successful and that’s all that matters!

@Coach_Hadsell Not all sports get funded by the school/school districts. I know this is targeted at the sport I coach which is okay. But if you think about how much equipment cost for other sports, if it wasn’t provided by the school those parents would be paying just as much.
