For as sexually degenerate as our society is I'm actually kind of surprised pedophilia isn't encouraged or at least tolerated. Only a matter of time until we start hearing "Children need to explore their sexuality with an experienced adult to properly develop" I suppose. If children can consent to a sex change operation why can't they consent to sex?

The book BoyMom talks about men whose college careers were derailed by rape accusations. (Were those accusations false? I don't pretend to know.) But the impact on those men was real.
I've also known two men who said they'd been falsely accused. It didn't ruin them legally, but it upended their lives socially. I believed them because they weren't trying to defend themselves from something I heard; I had no knowledge of their situations before they told me.
I understand why some men feel cautious. At the very least, it's true that a public label can seriously damage your reputation.
