Last night after Taraweeh prayers, a Gen Z stood up right after Witr and confronted our lmam at Masjid Bwebajja on why the prayers & Qunoot were that long. Worshippers nearly best him up. I don’t know where this dubious habit came from. I watch alot of videos on Tik Tok of some Muslims complaining. One would assume they are conserving their energy for something meaningful, but in reality, they are only eager to return home and bury themselves in their phones. You can play and watch football for 90 minutes, attend events that last for hours, but praying Taraweeh for 40 mins to 1 hour is where you rattle against the Imam for reciting longer verses. For years & decades, many young people have deprived themselves of these prayers due to nothing but complacency and spiritual laziness. It is so disheartening that some part of the Ummah belong to this group of complainers. Some even made content out of it that if the Imam start reciting any long surah they will leave the solah. As I would say, Walahi, I don't have a problem with the Imam reading at atleast two pages on each rakah during Taraweeh. It’s just a month. To the able youth and men, I think we can do better. We have the bone now, a time would come, our bones are weak to do that. May Allah reform our condition and awaken our hearts. 🤲🏿

I rely on Uber Boda for fast, efficient deliveries within Nairobi and sometimes I’m honestly surprised at the lack of basic professionalism from both ends.
A rider picks up a parcel and asks, “Hii kitu unaletewa wapi?” yet the trip was clearly requested to the customer’s location, complete with notes and delivery details. Why are you still calling to ask where it’s going?
On the flip side, some customers are unnecessarily rude. A rider calls to simply inform them the parcel has left the office, and they treat it like a disturbance. Others share incomplete or wrong addresses, which only complicates the process.
If we want smooth deliveries, it takes cooperation from both sides. Riders and customers alike need to exercise basic courtesy and clarity.

Two guards and 2 Bolt drivers, plus their passengers, are reportedly killed in the South C building collapse.
I am told that this building was built on LR. NO. 209/5909/10 was initially approved for 12 floors. 5 more floors were added after a bribe of Ksh 25 million was shared among County Officers within the Nairobi County Physical Planning department.
Officers who should be held responsible are;
Chief Officer Planning
Director of Physical Planning / County Planner
Assistant Directors / Development Control Officers
County Building Inspector(s)
Structural Engineer(s) of Record
Architect(s) of Record
Quantity Surveyor
Contractor / Developer / Property Owner
Langata Sub-County Enforcement Unit Commander
Some of the crimes they can be charged with include manslaughter, criminal negligence, institutional corruption and even systemic abuse of office.
Regarding the illegal approvals in Nairobi, Fredrick Ochanda, Patrick Analo, and Osman Khalif are behind the mess. They are allowing illegal buildings and billboards all over as long as they are paid bribes.

To my brother (father) Hassan Guleid It was exactly 5 years ago on this day, 20th of November 2020, that you departed from us. May Allah grant you Janatul Firdows and forgive all your shortcomings. The gap you left behind can never be filled. We miss you so much.

Your very funny night life in cod was about clubbing nothing else which has been taken over by wines and spirits

The lady is talented. When we came into county leadership, we advised the executive to create spaces in Nairobi where such content is allowed.
The CBD has been turned into one huge restaurant. Our Muslim brothers must give the CBD space to have more vice economy in it and encourage nightlife.
Nairobi CBD is dead by 7PM
