This week, our @holmquistes library celebrated Youth Art Month in the most creative way possible! Students heard inspiring stories about imagination, art, and courage—then picked up their pencils and crayons to create their own masterpieces. @alief_libraries #hummingbirdsread

Students voted on their faves in our own March Madness! K voted on Mo Willems classics, 1st gr. voted for The Secret Pizza Party or Dragons Love Tacos, 2nd gr. picked Antoinette and Gaston, & 3rd graders learned about trailblazers Mae Jemison and Katharine Johnson. @holmquistes
