Unpopular Opinion : Myles Lewis-Skelly’s best position is in midfield. He’s going to give Mikel Arteta a serious selection headache next season because he looks completely at home there. I’ve always known how good he is, but I also felt the left-back role limited him. As solid as he’s been there, it never truly showcased the full extent of his ability. Yesterday, he looked like he was born to control the midfield. The line-breaking passes, the assist, the crossfield switches, the long-range distribution, and the way he carried the ball through pressure were all top class. He looked so composed and confident every time he was on the ball even his off the ball movement was good It’s no surprise Manchester United are reportedly sniffing around him. If they want him, they should come £200 million plus Old Trafford, then we can consider it. Thoughts

Unpopular opinion: I genuinely wouldn’t mind Arsenal selling Gabriel Jesus and keeping Martinelli. If Vinícius Jr. arrives, I don’t see Martinelli winning back that left-wing spot. From what we’ve already seen, Tzolis looks incredibly sharp and offers qualities we’ve lacked for years, so it’s hard to see Martinelli replacing him there either. Instead of moving Martinelli on, I’d give him a chance through the middle. I’ve always felt his best position isn’t on the left wing. Too often, he ends up running to the byline, putting in a cross or winning a corner. His biggest strengths are his pace, movement, relentless pressing and attacking the space behind defenders. I genuinely think those qualities are better suited to playing as a No. 9 than being stuck out wide. If Arsenal don’t sign another attacker after bringing in Vinícius, I’d have no problem making Martinelli Jesus’ replacement and giving him a proper run as the centre-forward. I think we’d see a completely different player. Thoughts?

@Horlatunde Thankfully, they haven’t #NoWeaponAgainstUsShallProsper ! He’s frame and injury record would could be a reason. However, I’d have liked at least €20m+, but €16m with a sell-on clause is ok-ish. It now frees up space in the squad.

I still don’t understand how PL teams are not all over this boy, he’s good and will do well in teams like Forest, Crystal Palace and Co.

One thing people are not really talking about enough is what Bruno Guimarães and Vinícius Junior would actually do for Arsenal as a football club. This isn't just about improving the first XI. It's much bigger than that. I genuinely think those two signings would completely change the way Arsenal are viewed around the world. We'd no longer just be seen as one of Europe's elite clubs trying to get back to the top. We'd be looked at as an actual football powerhouse again. Think about it. Vinicius is one of the biggest football stars on the planet, while Bruno is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League. Bringing both in the same window sends a message to everybody. Commercially, Arsenal would explode even more. Shirt sales, sponsorships, global fanbase, pre-season tours, social media engagement... everything goes to another level. Big players bring big attention, it's as simple as that. Then there's the transfer market. Top players watch these things. Once they see Arsenal attracting names like Bruno and Vini, it becomes easier to convince the next superstar to join. Footballers want to play with other world class footballers. That's just how it works. People always talk about "statement signings", but this would actually be one. It changes the image of the club overnight. But there's something else I think would happen...Arsenal would probably become the most hated club in the Premier League. Every single weekend rival fans would suddenly become supporters of whoever we're playing. They'll be praying we drop points, celebrating every draw like they've won a trophy and analysing every little mistake. That's what happens when people genuinely see you as the biggest threat.
