First grader Enzo Gouker along with his mother, Jeanette Diaz, read to his classmates in Mrs. Baran’s class! The mother/son duo wrote and published their very own bilingual book called, Always Be/Sé Siempre! @BayonneBOE

The Girls Who Code club is exploring Sphero Indi robots. Sphero Indi robots teach us coding skills, problem-solving, and creativity through hands-on learning! @BayonneBOE

Sixth grade went on a field trip to see a play about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and then enjoyed some pizza at Pizza Masters! @BayonneBOE

Mrs. Ruh’s 5th Grade class, pictured with guidance counselor Mrs. Kos, celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Week by putting together the pieces of a kinder world. Each act of kindness is a vital piece of the puzzle! @BayonneBOE

Today students in Mrs. Olmo’s Kindergarten class learned about and were inspired by famous artist and art teacher Alma Thomas. She is the first Black female artist to be hung at the White House! @BayonneBOE

Mrs. McCann’s 4th graders created one-pagers on Weathering, Erosion, and Deposition, as well as Black History Month. Students also explored Science through a choice board and brought historical figures to life with Black History Month Bottle Buddies! @BayonneBOE
