Our Administrative Offices will close Monday, January 1st for the New Years Holiday. Our shelters will remain open to serve the families of Homeless No More.

Homeless No More’s education program offers various enrichment activities that support each child’s unique interests and development. Recently, the children enjoyed a mobile visit from Richland Library. After a read-aloud, each child chose age-appropriate books from the bus!

HNM CEO Dr. Lila Anna Sauls and Chief Programs Officer Jeremy Martin spoke at an annual conference held by Palmetto Associations for Children and Families. They discussed approaches to aiding families experiencing homelessness, and shared effective strategies implemented by HNM.

Volunteers help us get the work done - whether it is sorting donations, providing weekend meals, or helping with special events. Our 2024 Race for the Place marked volunteer Missy Caughman’s 12th year as Event Director.

Another successful Race for the Place is in the books! We want to say thank you again to all who participated in the race on Saturday, our sponsors, our volunteers and St. Joseph Catholic Church. We could not have done this without you!

Homeless No More is the only system of care in South Carolina serving homeless and at-risk families with children – including fathers and boys over the age of 12. It’s been our mission for more than 35 years.

Children in our after school program learned how being healthy can be fun! Students from USC’s MedElem program played games and built nutritious plates with the children, and Junior League of Columbia arranged for Zumba instructor James Patrick to host a dance fitness class.

The annual Point in Time Count assesses the number of people in any area who are experiencing homelessness during a single night. HNM offers there is a data disconnect between this count and the true number of homeless families. We continue to advocate on behalf of our families!

We’re grateful for the groups who chose to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through days of service at HNM! Members of City Year and Colonial Life employees spent time in our Education Center helping us prepare for the new school semester! Volunteer with the link in our bio.
