The Giants hoped that a move to right field would lead to better results for Jung Hoo Lee, but that has not played out. He still grades out as a below-average defender with a decent hit tool and no baserunning production. That will not generate much value.

@bosummers28 Luring roch from the teams ahead of us would not only take a ridiculous amount of our bonus pool, but it would hold our whole draft hostage until he signs. You can’t sign anyone because if roch wants more, you are fucked. I don’t think it’s worth punting the rest of our draft

@bosummers28 That’s fair but once he’s drafted, he holds the leverage. Gaints fans would call for everyone’s heads if they drafted roch and then didn’t sign him. They would be at his mercy. Not to mention he has the same agent as Emerson. His agent is gonna get them both paid
