After 21 years and 2.7 million gamerscore, I'm done with xbox. Switch2 + PC+ps5 pro only from here on out. I've sold my xbox series x galaxy black for a switch 2😌, turning my ps5 pro into my living room entertainment area. xbox use to be enjoyable, but the constant cycle of bringing games to PC and this everything is an xbox while closing studios and canceling games is unaceptable. PC will of cource replace my xbox since according to xbots it is one. I can play all of switch 2 and playstation 5 pro new games with my family from the comfort of my living room and play my PC games in my gaming room. Another factor, is I feel since the start of xbox one generation this version of xbox is not the one I grew up with the headache don't buy your games and having no physical ownership is a huge headache. It feels like a waste of time and money when I can invest that money elsewhere. Imo xbox consoles are massively overpriced with the new price hike. You spend $1000+on a xbox series x or more on all the assorirses gamepass, with microsoft raising prices so regularly. That's a shady business practice. 70% of my gaming will be on my PC, especially online MP. PC is perfect for those single-player games that push the visual boundaries with path tracing. Keep in mind - a $1000 xbox SX complete that is outdated in 12 months is equivalent to 5 year old PC, 10 years if you plan to skip a possible next xbox. xbox gaming has been a great journey since OG xbox, but the time has come to move on to new horizons.
