I will never understand a sacrifice bunt with one-out. Someone please explain the logic behind it, because I can’t understand it. I’ve seen way too many coaches doing it, and it’s a losing strategy.

RPI needs to be a SMALL piece of the discussion. For whatever reason, it's been turned in to the BCS "all knowing" metric for getting in to the post season. Humans should be able to look at teams, their schedules, their players, and what their chances are of making noise in the tournament.

@NorCalU1 These are young men...I think it's different that teenage high school kids. These two teams are rivals, and one team started throwing (allegedly) at the other. It happens.

WE NEED TO CLEAN UP AMATEUR BASEBALL. Coaches all over the country, challenging each other. Players yelling and calling other coaches pussies! Constant chirping in dugouts, especially high school. This absolutely has to stop. We don’t need some kind of “nice Coach certification“ or anything like that. The people that are out in front need to stand up for what’s right and bring back civility and responsibility. It’s literally an epidemic. What can we do to fix this?

If your plan this summer is to travel all over the country playing ball, that’s up to you. But you better be able to lift, eat, sleep and workout at an elite level if you’re doing that because you want to play college baseball. The physicality and skill level needed to play at that level are what matters. If you’re living in a hotel this summer, make sure you have a plan. I’ve seen a ton of careers wrecked by traveling too much and not having a plan for the part of your development that will matter most when you get to college.
