HPU Baseball-signee Tanner Kagimoto had a strong showing in Kaiser's OIA East win over Moanalua on Wednesday. With the score tied at 0 through three innings, Kagimoto hit a 2 RBI double that jumpstarted a 7-run spurt in the fourth as the Cougars went on to win, 11-0.

Owen Wessel nearly plays the hero again for HPU to tie the game with this one-out single, but the tying run is ruled out at home trying to score from second as the Sharks go down on a looking strikeout to end the game, 10-9, in Game 3 against Menlo.

Entering the team's most recent series, HPU captain Noah Hata was hitting .174 at the plate. But He wasn't worried — and the hard work he put in revealed itself with home runs on 3 consecutive days.
