Semester 1 Awards Day! 25/27 students were recognized and 24/27 received merit based awards! Not to mention that 1/27 is a brand new student! Feeling extra proud! @theCCEChampions

Almost forgot to post what @run__cmc was up to today! It wasn’t much since he was in a bit of a sugar coma from the breakfast donuts...🤪 congrats to house Venus for earning the most points yesterday!!!! @Panthers @theCCEChampions

This morning @run__cmc was caught hanging out on his MVP trophy. Oops! I mean our House trophy 🤪🏆 Which house will earn it back from him by the end of the day?! @Panthers @theCCEChampions

Our first “Role Model Monday” was a success! Students dressed up in their most professional outfits to promote a role model worthy attitude all day long. Can’t wait to continue this every Monday for the rest of the year! #dressforsuccess #lookgoodfeelgood @theCCEChampions

This morning @run__cmc thought it’d be a great time for everyone to write their letters to Santa, including himself! He even brought special Christmas pencils for everyone to write their letters with. ❤️🎄📝 @Panthers @theCCEChampions

Today @run__cmc brought trees from the North Pole with him to decorate our room and even found a Panthers football in my room for us to play with at recess today!!! 💙🎄🎅🏼 @Panthers @theCCEChampions

Finally got these up in the hall! After we finished our Westward Expansion unit, students recreated the famous “American Progress” painting. Students brainstormed ideas of what America’s modern day “Manifest Destiny” could be and drew that in their painting. @theCCEChampions

Our classroom elf has officially arrived!!! All the students voted on a name as a class yesterday and settled on Christian McCaffrey... probably because they know how excited Miss Pond would be if the real @run__cmc showed up to our classroom 🤪💙@theCCEChampions @Panthers

This morning we finally got our Affirmation Station set up! We all decorated an envelope that our friends can drop affirmations in. At the end of the week, we’ll check our envelopes and get to see all the kind things people think of us. 🤗 @theCCEChampions #CapturingKidsHearts
